What is your favorite part of your job and the impact you make?

My absolute favorite part of my job is working with clients to solve problems. Learning as much as I can about each client and use this learning to build the best digital marketing plan to help the client help as many people as they can. When the strategies we have created start to work and the client sees and feels the difference, this is magic. I strive to achieve that magic with each unique client I get to work with.

What challenges can you help your clients overcome?

Individuals have so many choices today. A plethora of information is at their fingertips, whether that information is fact or fiction. It’s all about empowering patients, residents and families to acquire the necessary information and make the best decisions for them.

Why do your clients love working with you?

When working with a client, I put myself in their shoes. I become one of their marketing team members rather than just a vendor partner. Every discussion, recommendation, and change in their strategy is driven based on getting the results needed, even as the goals change.

Share some of your favorite ad campaigns.

The marketing battle between Pepsi and Coke which brought on the heat in the 70s and it’s kept going ever since. Pepsi started in the mid-70s with a blind taste test against Coke and WON!  Coke couldn’t do anything but watch.
Then each competitor took marketing extremely seriously.  They brought on the catchy jiggles and songs.  They brought the celebrities.  They sponsored the Super Bowl.  These two brands single-handedly shaped marketing as we know it today.  They seemed to have bottomless budgets and used every angle imaginable.

What is your favorite book?

Anything Nicholas Sparks.  I’m now reading “The Return”.  Nicholas Sparks is from and lives in New Bern, NC and so many of his stories are based on the NC coast.
